thursday rant

it really annoys me when people win auctions on ebay and then don't pay. not only do they not pay, but they can't even be bothered to send an email and say, hey, i'm not going to pay for this, i'm just wasting your time.

so i end up having to wait two weeks or more to follow the dispute system before i can offer the item to another bidder or relist it. and i'm not totally heartless, i do understand that there are family emergencies and other extenuating circumstances. but still, even if you can't pay your phone or cable bill and you lose your internet service, go to the effing library for crying out loud and just send an effing email. when you bid on something you are entering a legal binding contract with another person, and when people don't pay the seller gets effed all over the place.

i'm annoyed so fuck is wanting to jump out of my mouth every other effing word and i'm trying to cut back on the cursing, which has gotten out of control lately.

anyway, so i'm effing pissed off at these two, yes T W O, buyers i have, who have not only not paid me but are not responding to the multiple emails sent by both myself and ebay and i'm just over these effers altogether. 90% of the time ebay is a wonderful thing and i make enough money to spend a little on cookie jars or books or maybe a clothing item here and there, but effers like this just ruin the whole experience for me.

anyway, i just took a deep breath and counted to ten so i should be okay now. sorry about that. so, tomorrow morning, six in the morning, we will be at the hospital. good times. i'm not 100% sure what time the actual surgery is but tomorrow is going to be a long day. thanks for all of the comments and emails sending good thoughts our way, we need them and they are much appreciated.

i think i'm going to go read my book and maybe take a nap. despite the fact that i have only been awake for a few hours. everyone else in the house is asleep too. toodles ~
